<p><strong>Mobile Water Treatment Technician</strong></p> <p><strong>Yorkshire/North West - Mobile covering - Bradford, Leeds, Manchester</strong></p> <p><strong>£36,000 + Company Van and Fuel Card</strong></p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Brief</strong></p> <p>Mobile Water Treatment Technician needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Yorkshire / North West who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mobile Water Treatment Technician that takes pride in their work.</p> <p>The successful candidate would need to have relevant qualifications and have experience in carrying out the following duties - Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections & Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean & Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling, LTHW Systems Testing & Analysis, Dosing of Inhibitor & Biocide, Cooling System Testing & Analysis, Steam Boiler Testing & Analysis, Water Softener Servicing, Plumbing Remedial Works</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum</li><li>Company Van and Fuel Card</li><li>24 day's holidays</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>Career Progression</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What the role entails:</strong></p> <p>Some of the main duties of the Mobile Water Treatment Technician will include:</p> <ul> <li>Representing the Water Compliance as a Tier 3 Water Treatment Technician/Engineer to execute the self-delivery of all Water hygiene/treatment services across the North of the UK. Some staying away for work may be required</li><li>Tasks will include but not limited to; Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections & Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean & Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling, LTHW Systems Testing & Analysis, Dosing of Inhibitor & Biocide, Cooling System Testing & Analysis, Steam Boiler Testing & Analysis, Water Softener Servicing, Plumbing Remedial Works</li><li>Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests</li><li>Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems</li><li>Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are in date and accurate</li></ul> <p><strong>What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Water Treatment Technician:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant qualifications and/or experience dependent on role</li><li>Legionella Awareness Training including extensive Knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance</li><li>Extensive Knowledge of Water Hygiene and Water Treatment service delivery requirements based on Table 2.1 HSG274 Part 2 and Appendix 3.1 HSG274 Part 3</li><li>At least 3 years' experience in water hygiene/treatment</li><li>City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 equivalent qualification relevant to Plumbing, Heating (Closed Loops) or Chemistry</li><li>Up to date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999</li><li>TMV Servicing experience (Servicing and Testing Requirements of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) (WH018) trained is preferable)</li><li>Water Sampling experience including understanding of different sample suites and bottle types</li><li>Clean & Disinfection experience (Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH005) and Inspection, Cleaning & Disinfection of Evaporative Cooling Systems - W258 trained preferable)</li><li>Closed Loop testing and dosing experience (Water Treatment Chemistry Foundation W252 training and Practical Monitoring & Control of Water Quality in Closed Systems - W276 preferable)</li><li>Cooling Towers testing and water treatment (WMSoc Training Courses - Evaporative Cooling Water Chemistry Foundation - W255 and WMSoc Training Courses - Evaporative Cooling Water Chemistry Advanced - W256 preferable)</li><li>Steam Boilers (WMSoc Training Courses - Steam Boiler Operation, Water Treatment & Chemistry - W260 trained preferable)</li><li>Valid driving license </li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists therefore ability to pass is essential.</p> <p>This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician to progress their career.
