Site Services Engineer
<p>We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical power distribution systems across a busy industrial site environment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of site-wide electrical infrastructure and associated services.</p> <p>The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations, and aftersales support to deliver planned and reactive engineering support while driving high standards of compliance and operational performance.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out maintenance, inspection, fault finding, and repair activities on site electrical distribution systems.</li><li>Support the safe operation of LV and HV electrical infrastructure across the facility.</li><li>Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions to minimise downtime.</li><li>Assist with planned shutdowns, upgrades, and improvement projects.</li><li>Monitor system performance and recommend reliability and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors and external service providers where required.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and utilities operations.</li><li>Participate in call-out and emergency response activities when necessary.</li></ul> <p><strong>Skills and Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>HNC/HND or Apprentice-trained in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.</li><li>Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, or heavy engineering environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and associated equipment.</li><li>Experience with fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and system troubleshooting.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical safety standards, isolation procedures, and permit-to-work systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems.</li><li>Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
