Very friendly and some staff recognised me even though ive not been in to Branch for a long while

I try to open an account and after they open it they close it straight away that’s absolutely not good.

Appalling service. Have staff standing around, several customers waiting to be served, but told have to wait. Inexperienced staff then have to get help from others, allowing down the process even further. While I appreciate people need to learn, surely a Saturday is not the best day to throw them in the deep end. Glad we were closing an account.

Open children's bank accounts. Staff were excellent and made the process smooth. I would definitely recommend this branch. The staff are a credit to the company.

I have been with Nationwide in Bradford for many, many years and have always found the staff friendly, helpful and courteous. My review is not for that (5 stars) but for my past two visits. I visit this branch once a month, and on my visit in March the new cashier picked up a large cup of coffee and drank from it on two occasions while serving me - not very professional. I was rather taken aback but did not say anything at the time. When I visited yesterday morning this cashier was busy talking to the other new cashier who was sat next to her. They were so busy with what seemed to be a personal conversation, that I had to ask who I should go to. During the time I was dealing with my transactions both of these cashiers carried on with their personal conversation, which continued until Carl came and stood behind them. I found the behaviour of these two members of staff very unprofessional and rude. When dealing with a customers account they should fully focus on what they are doing. I would hope that this is a temporary blip in what is usually exemplary customer service.
