I had a HydraFacial treatment at Salon Ismenis today, and I’m thrilled with the results! My skin looks fresh, healthy, and rejuvenated—exactly what I was hoping for. Monika was amazing; she’s professional, attentive, and clearly very skilled at what she does. She explained each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. Absolutely wasted my time today after visiting this salon, unprofessional approach from Kat, very disappointed. When I raised an issue from my previous visit, ( I found that the colour used last time faded very quickly, definitely not worth a £80-£90 job), I was then fobbed off how this was down to me managing my hair etc, totally incorrect there. I still gave this hairdressor a chance, and thought we could work on my hair next time, how wrong was I, she never even recalled any conversation or interaction with me, despite me showing our watsapp conversations, quite concerning for someone who talks about client relationships etc, it's all nonesense. I asked for her suggestion, as I'm not the professional rather she is, and putting my trust in her. I gave every minute detail of what I wanted as an outcome, despite this Kat continued to hesitate, and acted very strange towards me, with her questions and hesitations, was very odd behavior, and not expected from a professional in hair colouring. Right towards the end of this lengthy conversation, did she try looking for my 'card', however I don't even think client records are kept. I was 'accused' of having my hair colour done since the last time I saw Kat, which is not true, she could not even recall doing my highlights when I said this is the work she had done last year, I've not had the time to go elsewhere with my busy schedule! Her approach and behavior towards me changed and she refused to colour my hair, simply because she had no confidence in her work, a rude friend of hers kept interrupting our conversation ( both kept speaking amongst themselves which I could not understand a word of, due to the language barrier, this was quite rude and unprofessional) At the end of the day, you should be able address any concerns to your hairdressor about without them getting worried about colouring your hair, you can't just refuse to colour hair, and ruin people's plans last minute, and waste their time because of your own lack of expertise, and confidence. It would help if you communicated, and also recalled your clients! This was also not the first time I was let down, my very first appointment was cancelled last minute, I made a big mistake putting my trust in Kat the second time. Prior to all this, I had tried to discuss via phone and messages in order to avoid any of this, however communication was very poor, from delayed messages to no replies at times. Definitely would not recommend, unprofessional, rude, and not reliable.
