Not as competitive as they used to be, the owner Ansar is quietly abrupt, has no customer service or communication skills and is always in an angry, patronising mood. He ignores paying customers, who in some cases spend hundreds of pounds in the shop, interrupts a conversation halfway through to prioritise phone queries, which should be the other way round. He asked the assistant to go outside and check the vehicle to see if it was standard procedure or a complex fitting, so we went outside and on returning implied that I was going to run off without paying the assistants fee which really infuriated me. There is no sense of generousity towards loyal customers who have been coming and supporting the businesss for many years. The shop is becoming unsafe to walk or even stand in due to the amount of large heavy items stacked on top of each other and piled all over the floor. There needs to be more professionalism with a bit of respect shown for people and a better attitude towards paying customers when they ask product-related questions before parting with their hard earned money.

They go extra mile to find you the right parts for you car. I struggled to get parts for a Japanese import but once I reached out to Rapid, they knew where they needed to go to source the correct parts. Friendly, reliable and highly recommended.

I visited this shop for the first time today and was absolutely disgusted with the customer service. The owner was extremely rude and didn’t even acknowledge me or my husband properly. We felt completely ignored and unwelcome. Definitely not the experience you expect when visiting a local business for the first time. I won’t be returning.
