Dr Gilkar & Partners @ Kensington Street Surgery

I observed Roxy, a Nurse Independent Prescriber, during my placement and was very impressed by her practice. She demonstrated excellent clinical judgement, clear communication with patients, and a strong patient-centred approach to prescribing. She carried out thorough assessments and considered relevant medical history and current medicines before making prescribing decisions.

Dr Haider is a brilliant doctor. May Allah reward her for her service. Always listens carefully to the problem. Reception staff is friendly. Bron and Liz are brilliant receptionist, Bron is always willing to help and Liz she’s always smiling and has a good sense of humour. The Nurses are very polite and friendly. I feel comfortable when I am attending the surgery. The checking monitor is very useful and a time saver.

The most disgusting place ever. I am now switching my GP surgery. I was seen by the doctor and was told within an hour I could collect my prescription but it been nearly 3 hours and it is not ready. I’ve been in agonising pain since the morning. It takes them multiple hours to just sign off a prescription which the pharmacist also had an issue with them.I have rang in multiple times yet no one picked up the call. So when I went into the GP practice, the receptionist were just sat there doing nothing. They were not busy. They are very unprofessional. Always had issues here.

I would like to say that DR Haider is a brilliant doctor . To say that you only get an 10 minute appointment she is so attentive and ensures that everything is documented so Thoroughly. I am so thankful that I am able to see a DR Haider and that she ensures my health is taken care of so exceptionally well . I also feel that doctors should get more time for appointments as to diagnose and then type up all the information is way over the time and again this is always the case when DR Haider sees myself as a patient . I thank you you much DR Haider 😊

A great team of people working at Dr Gilkar and partners. The secretaries are always very helpful, friendly polite. I definitely get an appointment promptly. Dr Haider is an amazing doctor. She is very supportive,she listens to your needs and will make all the necessary referrals in good time. Iam soo greatful to have you as my GP. Keep up the good work!
