An absolute unprofessional and worst practice in the region. No medical ethics , no empathy and no professionalism. Receptionist plays role of a GP and GP behaves worse than the receptionist. Dr Hakeem blames system , staff shortage to cover the poor performance by the whole team.He is not a good listener and very disrespectful to the patients .

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the treatment I received at your surgery. Frankly, I wish there were an option to give no stars at all. My experience was both distressing and unacceptable, and I feel compelled to raise serious concerns about the conduct of certain staff members. Dr. Hakeem was extremely unprofessional, showing no empathy or willingness to listen. I was abruptly told that I could not discuss multiple health concerns during my appointment — despite the fact that all my symptoms were related and likely indicative of a single underlying condition. This rigid, dismissive approach was not only unhelpful but deeply frustrating. In addition, a staff member named Miss Hajira — who, to my knowledge, is not even registered as a doctor in the UK — was involved in treating patients, including myself. This raises significant questions about patient safety and regulatory compliance. How can an unregistered individual be permitted to offer medical care under the guise of professionalism? To make matters worse, I was threatened with expulsion from the surgery simply for raising valid concerns and trying to advocate for my own health. Instead of being supported or heard, I was met with hostility and intimidation. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic duty of care shown by this team is alarming. I am shocked that individuals like Dr. Hakeem and Miss Hajira are allowed to continue working in a healthcare setting. This experience has left me feeling traumatised, disrespected, ignored, and deeply concerned about the standards of care at your practice.

Doctor Hakeem struck me off as a patient for being transgender and demanded I go to a gender identity clinic despite having been prescribed my medication for several years on the NHS, having moved from Ireland and transitioned to NHS care. Apart from refusing to give medical justification for this decision or continue with a bridging prescription, he has even gone so far as to tamper with my previous prescription record to remove all mention of my last prescriptions of Nebido. When I requested an appointment to speak with him face-to-face and cited this as a failure of his duty of care, he repeatedly forced his staff to deal with me despite their obviously not being able to justify this unprofessional behaviour, and then accused me of harassment and struck me off as a patient, again, all because I am transgender. Disgustingly discriminatory and unprofessional practice, take care if you are LGBTQ in any way.

Possibly the worse GP practice I’ve every experienced- extremely rude deputy manager who insisted discussing personal medical details in reception and gate keeping me from seeing the GP - shame as the rest of the staff were alway polite and the nursing staff excellent This was not an isolated incident as my partner also had to discuss personal medical details in reception on the telephone with another medical service as they refused a private room I would avoid this practice if you value your privacy and want to ensure your health is thier priority as they don’t care

My elderly disabled parents were mistreated and spoken extremely rudely by a nurse at the surgery on separate occasions and then out of rage poked and jabbed my mother when giving her an injection. It was evident that the nurse's behaviour was not just a one-time occurrence but a pattern of disrespect and unprofessionalism. Treating vulnerable patients with such callousness and disregard for their well-being is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. The trust placed in medical professionals should never be taken for granted. It's crucial for individuals in such positions to embody empathy and compassion, qualities that are fundamental to providing quality care. A change in attitude and behaviour is imperative for the nurse to truly fulfill her role in a way that benefits and uplifts her patients. The surgery needs to do better with who they employ and take complaints seriously not merely putting it down to miscommunication.
