This charging station only works for one vehicle at a time, it is an absolute waste of time if another car is already charging as despite it having two chargers it only has enough power to charge one vehicle. I have been sat here for almost half an hour waiting for another vehicle to go from 85% to 100% charge! My advice is don’t buy an electric vehicle as the charging network is simply not available or adequate throughout the whole of the UK. You will find yourself searching for chargers that work, when you find one that does work it needs to be free from any other vehicle and even then you’ll be sat around for anything from 30-60 minutes every time you want to recharge your vehicle. The whole thing is a sham, not even 1% of the vehicles currently on the road are electric and yet there is chaos and massive inconvenience when it comes to charging vehicles. What would happen if 10% of the UK’s vehicles were electric?
Too expensive. And only a few chargers. The Tesla charger at the hotel across the road is far cheaper and is open to all cars with CCS port (virtually every EV).
Good one and faster But expansive
There is no charging port at this Shell garage!
