I had my hair done by Mina, and I am so beyond happy. Mina did an amazing job, I am so obsessed with the results.You couldn’t get these results anywhere else, Mina is the best in the game and I couldn’t recommend her enough! She is so polite and professional and she does take her time making sure everything is perfect and ensuring that she gives you the best results.

Mario’s requires a £10 pre-deposit, which is not an issue in itself and I do appreciate that when I contacted with 8hrs of notice for a change due to unforeseen work circumstances, they were able to accommodate. Unfortunately, the service itself fell below expectations. The stylist did not adequately consult or adhere to the agreed approach. I arrived early for my appointment and waited for the alloted appointment time, yet the haircut itself was completed in approximately 15 minutes. The cut was not done in the natural direction of my curls. Excessively short layers were created (ear lobe length), which were not apparent at the time because the stylist immediately proceeded to style my hair using texture spray and blow-drying. When blow-dried, the strands were curled by the stylist and appeared proportionate, so I initially believed the cut was successful and even rebooked in good faith. However, after washing and styling my hair myself, the result was deeply disappointing. The shortest layer is far too short and uneven. It is a fundamental principle, particularly for short styles of variable thickness, wavy hair; that layers should be lengthened, not shortened and within the natural curl direction. This is especially frustrating given that I work in a very formal profession (law) and the cut now results in a shaggy rather than sleek appearance. I am forced to pin my hair to make it work professionally. Even my regular stylist has advised that there is little that can be done to correct this other than cutting it to a shorter A-Line and style close to the shortest layer. I had grown my hair for several months before this appointment and came to Mario's as my current schedule would not allow for a trip home. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the execution and the outcome of this haircut. I would not reccomend this salon.

Got my hair done by Abir yesterday and overall it couldn’t have been a better experience. I wanted a shade that was impossible as I had boxed dye previously and red undertones. Abir managed to get my hair to a stunning colour which I couldn’t be most thankful for. The talent is unbelievable and it was completely worth it !!

I went into the salon on Saturday with my sister who has gone there a few times in the past. The service she received was appalling and left her sobbing! Her appointment was at 5:30 and rang the salon to let them know she will be coming in at 5:45 which they were fine with. We arrived at 5:55. She let the staff know she had a wedding the next day and wanted a layered cut and blow out. The two blonde girls said that was fine but when the stylist with blue hair came she refused to do it. She told my sister because she came late she won’t be able to do that despite the receptionist telling her it was fine and they will still take her. The whole service overall was terrible. She brushed her hair without a care. I could see her head being pulled back as she brushed her hair. The stylist told her she’d cut and diffuse her hair to which my sister begged her to give her a blowout even if she didn’t cut her hair. My sister was under the impression she’d cut and diffuse her hair and give her a blowout. She cut her hair extremely short and gave her bangs despite my sister telling her she wanted to keep as much length as possible and long face framing pieces. Her hair wasn’t even diffused properly. It was left half wet and was told she won’t be getting a blowout. My sister said she’d pay extra if she could do it. After again refusing and left with hair that was still wet and felt dry she began crying. The cut was all over the place as you can see in the pictures. The bangs were different lengths and the layers were cut without much thought. We left the shop with her sobbing. The manager and stylist simply let her leave the shop crying. That is not at all how you should run your business. I was absolutely disgusted at the service and at how heartless the staff there were at leaving their customer crying. We will not be coming back and will not be recommending this service to others!!!

Falak is lovely and understanding. I'm deaf and mute, so I can't speak, When I went to Mario's for the first time, I was nervous However, Falak was very understanding. I communicate by writing text notes on my phone, and I also showed her a picture of a dark red colour I want, and she has a lovely smile because she makes me feel confident. She is wonderful and even knows a little sign language. She did a beautiful colour and a little cut for my hair, and I absolutely love it. She is so talented. Thank you so much! xxx
