I went Westwood Park Community hospital for a planned Hystroscopy. All the staff were lovely. As I was sat there waiting I got a call saying they need to cancel, but because I was there already the nurses decided they won’t send me back and go ahead as planned. All the nurses were amazing , till I got into the theatre. The consultant asked me if I want to get a coil fitted which I said no to, but she kept pushing me to get it done. The machinery wasn’t working properly so ten mins procedure took nearly an hour. And even in between me being in pain she kept saying get coil fitted. I am lucky that I had Shelly (one of the nurse) stood next to me for support or I would have asked her to stop and would have returned another day.

I came here for a hysteroscopy and was given clear instruction where to go. Sat in the waiting room, lots of information to read on the board and I wasn't waiting long. I was taken to where I needed to be. I then waited further to then be seen by nurse Sarah, she went into why I was here and what today would be about. I was then taken to a bed to get changed and I waited again. The ladies are lovely , I think her name was Sandra, sorry if it wasn't, and Bernie, they let me know about the procedure, and what the doctor would do, it's all very relaxed really, the team are ace! I would like to thank the lovely Nigerian lady, student nurse that was there , she made me a lovely cuppa tea and spoiled me to some biscuits. She was very nice and helpful. Thankyou all and have a lovely time over the holidays 😊

Went for a hysteroscopy some of the nurses were lovely, but when i went for the procedure they made me feel really uncomfortable they didn't know how to set up the bed and equipment which made me feel nervous. The doctor kept asking the nurse to do things and she kept pressing and doing the wrong thing, then when they finished i was left soaked wet threw with my legs in the air until i asked to clean myself up before they spoke to me about the results i wasn't even offered tissues to clean myself up with

Just wanted to thank Dominic Futter who organised for a MRI Scan Lumbar & Sacral for me on 23 July 2023 & has referred me to Leeds to see a specialist regarding surgery. He was very understanding & actually did what he said

I had a visit to Westwood on 4th January for some investigation on medical issues. The staff were so friendly , I was so nervous but they put me at ease and the young Dr who carried out the test was so gentle i didn't even realise it was over. Big Thank you to all the staff who were there on that Day. You are all doing a great job.
