To cut a long story short my nails are destroyed, my cuticles are damaged and a strong wind would snap them after getting my nails done here. My review might seem like a jest and I suppose it is, but you know what they say, if you don't laugh it off, you will cry. And then your paper nails might get wet and disintegrate. I really would not recommend, which is a shame as the people that do the nails are lovely. I think the problem is the manager (I'm assuming she's the manager as she just stands around looking over their shoulder while they work, very management like) it just gives the impression that they are rushing because they are constantly watched, but that's just my opinion. She's also very pushy and tries to insist that you pay with cash, even asking me to go to a cash machine, which I declined to do. Why have a card payment system at all ? I first got my nails done in August and then again in September. First experience was great and I loved my nails. Second experience was ok. I went again Monday just gone (today is Thursday) and I had everything taken off and just painted with shellac. Even with 2 layers of top/base coat and 2 layers of the colour, my nails are bending and are as thin as a piece of paper making it painful to touch anything as they bend and split more. They have split and cracked half way down my nails which has become painful, on 4 of my nails the lady cut my skin with the electric nail file. To top it all off if I catch myself with a nail, it either falls off or if it manages to hold on I end up with a paper cut. But in all seriousness if you value your nails I wouldn't bother.
Wish I could rate lower. I had a walk-in appointment and my nails are completely ruined. The service was rushed, I felt the technician slip multiple times with the nail file and buffer. My fingers and nails felt sore after the appointment and I could see the gel wasn't evenly applied. It also had bubbles in it and my previous colour was still in bits underneath. My fingers were cut. It was awful and I felt so uncomfortable. I've just had my nails redone somewhere else and we were horrified at the damage to my nails. They're thin, breaking, there are gouges and my nails beds are red raw. I will never come back.
Din was absolutely amazing. From start to finish was concentrating and absolutely smashed the design. Ask for him when you go in! Happy Halloween 🎃!! There’s also another lady who is good and can always have a chat with and she’s brilliant too! Highly recommend l!
I recently treated myself to a manicure and pedicure, and once again, I was warmly welcomed with bright smiles from Daly. She is truly the reason I keep returning to this salon. I appreciate how she always makes sure that the technician understands my preferences, ensuring my nails are done exactly the way I envision them. I can't wait for my next visit to indulge in some more pampering! 🩷
Overall, the service was good. Staff were friendly upon arrival as expected, offered us drinks etc. However, on a few occasions, the individual giving me a pedicure dug too deep down the side of my nails, which has now turned red, sore and almost bruised - and caused me to flinch a few times, but I had no apology, and further to this, my heel has been severely cut, to the point I’m limping when I’m walking, which is really painful. I’ve never had this experience following a pedicure before, and I would have said something at the time, but the soreness and pain kicked in overnight and the next day, when I was wondering why I’m limping, I looked at the bottom of my feet and saw this soreness and cuts where my heel was, where the individual doing my pedicure had gone in a bit too hard. We paid £35 which is £10 more than most places in Bradford, but we were happy to pay because they were open and looked clean. Not sure I’ll be going back, which is a shame, because the ladies were nice overall. But when paying £35 I expect my feet to feel relaxed, not experience difficulty walking.
