Took a day trip to Bradford and made sure to stop at The Grumpy Baker for some cheesecake to enjoy on our way home and WOW, it did not disappoint! It is by far the the best cheesecake we have ever had. We tried the Jammy Dodger and Kinder flavours, which were both a solid 10/10. The cheesecake itself was unbelievably soft and creamy. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in Bradford !

So came here after my Lahore, with my family. While the cheesecakes were good. We ordered 3 hot chocolates. They were burnt. I raised this to the man at the counter. And he said it’s all from one batch we can’t do anything. Then proceeded to just walk off and ignore me. So Khalas left without raising it further. Which is a joke . Given we spent £50. Terrible customer service. And as a local won’t be coming here again.

One of the best cheesecakes I've had. Lived up to the hype and expectation. Also a shout-out to the 18 year old lad that served us. Fantastic customer service ethic, great banter and very welcoming. Customer service is massive for me, this lad smashed every category. Well done to all involved at Grumpy Baker! Will definitely be back!

Think of a cheesecake that’s perfectly balanced, smooth, rich, and velvety, with just the right amount of sweetness. The kind that melts in your mouth and leaves you dreaming about your next bite. Here’s what we went for: • The Oh My Cheesecake • The Pink Panther • Chocolate Kinder Molten Cake • The Kunafah Molten Every single one was mouthwateringly delicious. The molten cakes were impressive, soft, warm, and absolutely drenched in sauce. They also offer a range of treats including molten cakes, milk cakes, cookie dough, and milkshakes. There’s a decent seating area too. Honestly, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep going back to, it’s that good!

The Grumpy Baker on Great Horton Road is a total game changer for dessert lovers in Bradford. I used to make the trip to Manchester just to get proper homemade cheesecake — but not anymore. These guys are hands down doing the best homemade cheesecakes I’ve had, no question. From the texture to the flavours, everything is spot on. You can tell it’s made with care, not just churned out like factory stuff. And it’s not just the desserts that impress — the service is top notch too. Hassan, the owner, is a good friend and genuinely one of the nicest guys around. He’s always welcoming and makes sure everyone’s looked after. It’s great to finally have a place like this right here in Bradford, without needing to head down the M62 for a dessert fix. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favour — this spot lives up to the hype.
