WARNING! MONEY GRAB PARKING FINES! Generally would not recommend it here. First time I've ever been to a cinema (where you would obviously be expected to stay for more than a couple of hours) and it's not been completely free to park when using the services it's there for. The sign explaining the system has the words "free parking" as the biggest words so when seen from a distance and in a rush you might forgive me for believing it to all be free. I appealed the fine with more than adequate proof that I paid for a cinema ticket that day, stayed on site during the time I was parked and therefore was using the car park legitimately but as you can imagine that appeal was rejected because the car park company wants your money at the end of the day and if it's legal but immoral then they'll exploit a money making opportunity. Having said all that, I've given two stars because the cinema itself was very nice and there was a helpful and friendly attendant at the ticket machines.
First time visit for quite a few years. Was confusing trying to pay for the movie and where to register the car. Staff weren't helpful at all and seemed to wish they were anywhere but there. I think a refresher course in customer service might be in hand. Prices for drinks and sweets were extortionate. The place itself was clean and the recline seats were unexpected but comfortable. The sound was a bit too loud and the screen was big. I'd give my visit 6/10 and that is just for the movie (Predator:Badlands)
A very enjoyable experience. We watched Gladiator 2 in screen 12. We had recliner chairs that were wonderfully comfortable but possibly a little too comfortable? I did nod off at one point! The movie was fantastic, sound was brilliant and being able to take my own sugar free stuff certainly helped!
I I drove all the way from Hull to this cinema to watch a movie showing in a selected cinema. However, I was denied entry because I had a 10-month-old child for a 15-rated film. The customer service associate was extremely rude and dismissive.
Nice ambiance, good quality seats and sounds
