Nice gym with a decent number of classes and friendly staff on reception except for the young girls. The planning of the gym needed more thought - bigger studio rooms, a separate spin room, bigger gym for floor exercises. A separate ladies gym. The swimming pool looks small even if I haven’t used it and it isn’t discreet as you can see past the blinds that come down. They needed to have a viewing platform/seating inside the pool area like Shipley and Eccleshill. No sauna or steam room. Having squash courts would’ve been a nice addition.

Whether you’re swimming for relaxation or play, the experience is so enjoyable that you’ll find yourself wanting to come back again and again. Staff are all really friendly, never had an issue. The facilities are also really good, decent size gyms with plenty of equipment and a good size pool with the addition of a smaller pool for the younger children. They also host parties which my child has attended a couple of times and loved. Only real draw back is that the car park seems quite small and can be a bit tight on busier days/times, albeit it has been extended recently with some overflow parking.

Never went in the centre. Took my grandson to play football on the pitches outside but part of the centre. Appeared to be a martial arts competition on and the car park was very busy. Whilst I managed to find a parking space, as kick off time approached, others didn't and parked their cars within the car park but not in bays. Traffic wardens came in droves, at least 4 of them, and ticketted all those vehicles not parked in bays. Either the traffic wardens, or the Sports Centre knew what was going to happen and clearly planned ahead to do this, robbing parents for simply trying to keep their kids healthy and play sports. I highly recommend boycotting and avoiding this venue. Disgraceful.

This place has everything! Gym, swimming, sports halls, studios, personal trainers , lockers, spacious waiting area with comfy seats and vending machines, just in case you get hungry or thirsty. I have used the gym, lots of great equipment to choose from, and staff always wandering around if you needed any assistance. The toilets are nice and clean, really well kept. Overall, the place is great, clean, and tidy inside and out. Plenty of parking and disable parking available. I know Sedbergh welcomes children's parties and inflatables in the pool, and I have also witnessed inflatables in the hall. Something for everyone!
