I visited Vally Parade for the second time as an away fan and really enjoyed my visit. The view for disabled is at pitch level but unrestricted. The refreshment hut was right next door to our seating so it was easy for people with me to help get food and drinks. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We arrived on an official supporters coach which dropped us off at the bottom of the street to the away end. A steward came over to the coach and said he will take us to where we will be for the match but we wanted to go to the club shop for a pin badge. The steward took us up the hill and even helped other disabled fans get up the hill in their wheelchair. The club shop had an easy access ramp and was ok to navigate round on my mobility scooter. Once we had finished at the shop the stewards took us to the gate to get in. They showed us where the accessible toilets were and took us to the seating area via the players tunnel. At half time the DLO officer came to see if we were ok and she was very professional and friendly. Thank you Bradford City AFC for making disabled people feel welcomed and included on a match day.

A great football venue, well maintained. Plenty of bars which serve food and drink, although expensive (£2-80 for a bottle of pop). Beautifully maintained pitch with very polite and helpful staff. They host an annual game dedicated to veterans and the act of remembrance, fully supporting the poppy appeal. Pictures are Bradford Sea Cadets preparing to sell poppies, and fly the Standard, oh and a cheeky Billy the Bantam.

Sat up in the Kop to watch a game on a recent visit to the city. Atmosphere was reasonable as they went top of the table. Long suffering but extremely loyal fan base so I really hope they get rewarded with success. It’s long overdue. The half time raffle was underwhelming re prizes. There are no printed programmes any more. Really sad. The ticket cost £28 for a League 1 game up north. That is incredibly steep and I wasn’t impressed. Good ground though. Shame pretty much no pubs in the vicinity. Best of luck Bantams.
