Harrogate Ringway Trail

Its a part of a big circle walk around Knaresborough and Harrogate but you can make it short just around Knaresborough. Its a well routed path trail with signs of directions. the path goes to up and down like roller coaster through plenty of woodland, riverside, fields, meadows and specially bluebells grounds. Spectacular nature views on your way to blow your mind. Its starts from the Viaduct next to River Nidd. Going through Mackintosh park to Forest park and passing by Bilton park, its half way stop to Gardners Arms. Nice place to stop by and fuel up. Then it goes through the pretty nice woodland full of trees, wild garlic and specially bluebells ❤️. Finally walking in forest and goes through Nidd Gorge it ends up on same route next to riverside. Parking available at two places. First at start next to riverside and public toilets and second parking is at Nidd Gotge. If you’re in area then must do that walk for meditation, exercise and top of all to enjoy the nature beauty.

A beautiful tourist spot, very popular for walking and exploring. Stunning nature, lovely views of the old town, and an impressive viaduct create a truly special atmosphere. It’s also very convenient that there is parking with EV charging available — only 60p per hour, which is probably one of the cheapest in North Yorkshire. It was especially seen to recognise the landscapes from the film “A Very English Christmas”. A wonderful place to visit — peaceful, scenic, and full of charm.
