SPAR Catterick

I often visit the spar as it is my local. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful and it is always a pleasure but this evening I’ve gone in there rushing in the middle of serving my dinner to go and get something I needed your staff member that was on this evening was very rude. She lingered at the back of the store after noticing me stood waiting at the till for more than three minutes this frustrated me somewhat so I scanned my own item Then she proceeded to chew me out saying she has never heard of such a thing as anyone scanning their own products when they don’t even work in the store, does your staff never visit Tesco’s? Aldi? Sainsbury’s? All the other places that do self check out what a disgusting person she was Makes me think about driving a little bit further and using the co-op a little bit further down the road or going all the way up to Tesco’s not happy very dissatisfied customer with this particular staff member.

Always pleasant and very helpful staff

This was me being ignored for over 5 minutes waiting to be served Friday. 18:05 19/05/2023 Not good enough. Left without being served at all.

Absolutely lovely shop the staff are very friendly there is always a good atmosphere the shop is always neat and tidy apart from parcels but that can't be helped that's down to the shop itself there's not enough room for all the parcels through the post office the manager is adorable nothing is too much of a problem for her all her staff she has turned up around since she took over it's a very pleasant place to be

Customer service here needs work. The staff take great pleasure in telling you when they are unable to do something eg. Sell stamps from the post office. This is not a once off and has led me write this review. A more friendly and helpful approach would go a long way.
