This little chapel is easy to miss, thousands must pass this spot every year while doing the 3 peaks and remain Ignorant of its existence. Well worth taking a little time out to visit and perhaps a spot of lunch. Vigor Morgalas as GOT fans say
There is a road sign to this on the B6255, take it , this is a delightful Church in a perfect setting If you are lucky the sun dial might be working too :)
One of my favourite places, The church is set in a beautiful part of the dales, Good relatively safe car park,(please visit the church and leave a donation) Ideal place for ingleborough and whernside, Pictures are of scales moor and twistleton scar,
A small beautifully kept Church nestled between Ingleborough and Whernside.
A small but very beautiful church. The lives of the men, women and children who died during the construction of the Ribblehead Viaduct are commemorated on a marble plaque inside the church, whilst many of them are buried in the graveyard. Well worth a visit.
