Christkindelmarkt, Leeds is one of the most established German Christmas Markets in the UK, with traditional wooden stalls, festive greenery, Christmas carousel ride and twinkling colourful lights all creating a unique continental festive atmosphere in the heart of Leeds city centre.
Now in its 6th year, the Harrogate Christmas Market (photographed above) has won several awards and is now recognised as one of the best in the UK. It has a strong Yorkshire theme and features many goods not normally found on the High Street. Hand-crafted gifts made in or near Yorkshire are favoured whilst locally produced food and drink feature on several very popular stalls.
Celebrating the very best of local arts, country crafts and seasonal gifts, from jewellery, and ceramics to tree decorations, scented soaps and handmade chocolates. There's also a visit from Santa, traditional music and children's craft-making activities. Drop in any time
This market has grown from a handful of cabins on the main shopping area of Sheffield to an entire Christmas experience of 50 cabins. Santas Grotto is at the heart of the event with the much loved Sleigh Bar and the traditional German Sausage grill. Santas Grotto guarantees a meeting with the big man himself with a photo opportunity and top quality gifts for every child.
A festive market showcasing some of the region’s favourite independent food, drink and craft traders will take over our central courtyard for two weekends, while the surrounding resident shopping and dining offer provides the perfect place for you to find that special gift and stop for a bite to eat along the way.

Meet hundreds of artisan designers and makers along with regional food producers, all under one roof. A lively programme of talks, demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Nowhere will you find more festive cheer than in Burley-in-Wharfedale on the afternoon of its Christmas Market, Craft Fair and Lights Switch-on! This special event on Saturday 1st December is loved by thousands of locals and visitors, who come back year after year to shop, play, drink, eat and be merry with friends and family in an unbeatable atmosphere.
This year's event takes place on the Market Place on 1 December 2018 from 9am - 5pm. There will be stalls and entertainment on the Market Place and the Mayor will switch on the lights at 4pm along with their guest of honour.

Otley Victorian Fayre was originally the brainchild of Otley Chamber of Trade. They wanted to give the towns shops a boost in the run up to Christmas and chose the Victorian theme because it was in the Victorian era that Christmas, as we now know it, really started.
This year the annual Richmond Town Christmas Market is being held on Sunday 3rd December from 10am – 4pm. As per previous years, this is a free Christmas event for all the family to enjoy. They are already working hard to bring together an eclectic mix of stalls and market areas, selling local produce, handcrafted goods, food stalls, as well as original inspirational Christmas gift ideas. Everything wil be located either in and around the town Market Place, inside the Town Hall (Chic Vintique Market), inside the Green Howards or the Indoor Market.

The Beverley Festival of Christmas is one of the largest Christmas Festival events in the UK. A one day event (always the 2nd Sunday in December) brings four fantastic Victorian Christmas Market locations and a whole range of festive entertainment to Beverley Town Centre. There's over 120 stalls attending, all selling a wide variety of handcrafted products, from Jewellery to Gin - the majority of which is made within the East Riding of Yorkshire. A hugely popular event on the calendar at Christmas time.
