Absolutely brilliant staff, went above and beyond for me, as i wanted a mocktail, unfortunately they didn't do them, but the owner made me one. The food was amazing, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning 😊

Our first time visiting on Friday afternoon. What a lovely gem of a place. Landlord was extremely friendly and helpful gave his recommendation on the beer which was a really nice pint. It was a cold afternoon sat in front of a coal fire was a warming bonus. Would definitely visit again.

Very welcoming landlord and staff, home cooked food was beautiful and good sized portions. Highly recommended. Don't worry its a little brighter inside than my photos make it look and it has separate bar areas to give a more intimate feel.

If Carlsberg did Sunday Roasts....then it still wouldn't be as nice as this one. It was absolutely beautiful, and probably the best sticky toffee pudding we've ever had. The staff were super friendly too. We've already recommended it to friends and family

Only one beer on handpull as other was not ready to be served. They were keen only to serve beer that was in good condition. The Timothy Taylor was extremely pleasant. The food was also excellent and the service was good, as was the atmosphere, cleanliness, and background music. Large car park and able to stopover in a Motorhome as long as its self contained. I did ring ahead to see it was okay to stop the night and booked a table. Also dog friendly.
