|Lewis Capaldi is back – and this time, he’s going bigger than ever. After selling out arenas across the UK and Ireland, the Scottish superstar has announced his largest outdoor headline shows to date for summer 2026. Among the eight huge concerts, one date stands out for Yorkshire fans: a massive homecoming-style performance at Roundhay Park in Leeds.
Leeds takes centre stage

On Saturday 4th July 2026, Capaldi will headline American Express presents Roundhay Festival, bringing his catalogue of chart-topping hits to one of the country’s most iconic outdoor venues. Roundhay Park has hosted some of the biggest live music moments in history – from Michael Jackson to Ed Sheeran – and now Capaldi joins that legendary list. With space for tens of thousands of fans, this promises to be one of the biggest Yorkshire gigs in years.
For local fans who missed out on tickets to his sold-out arena run, this Leeds date is the golden chance to experience Capaldi live on a truly epic scale. Expect singalongs to Someone You Loved, goosebumps during Wish You The Best, and a raucous crowd ready to celebrate his return under the Yorkshire summer sky.
The full tour – but Leeds is the one to watch
Capaldi’s outdoor run will stretch across the UK and Ireland, including shows in Dublin, Limerick, Cardiff, London, Belfast and Manchester. But the Leeds stop is especially significant. Not only does it fall on a Saturday at the height of summer, but it also marks his only Yorkshire appearance on the tour. For fans across the North, Roundhay Park will be the must-see show.

How to get Leeds tickets

A career that keeps breaking records
Capaldi’s return has been unstoppable. His comeback single Survive became the fastest-selling single of 2025 and his sixth UK No.1, outpacing even global icons like Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter. Add to that his unforgettable Glastonbury set, glowing arena reviews, and a Netflix documentary that struck a chord with millions, and it’s clear why these outdoor shows are shaping up to be the highlight of 2026.
For Yorkshire fans, though, the date that matters most is 4th July in Leeds. A summer evening, tens of thousands of voices, and Lewis Capaldi at the top of his game – Roundhay Park is about to host one of the biggest live music nights the region has ever seen.
