Came across this wonderful restaurant a couple of miles off the A1M whilst travelling North. The Fish and Chips were the best I've had in a very long time. Excellent! One thing they could develop is a couple of vegetarian options, as the next time I'm passing I am likely to have a couple of Vegetarians with me.

First impressions Sea Fish has that familiar chippy comfort, but with a slightly modern, blog-worthy twist that makes you want to sit in rather than just grab a takeaway. The space feels cosy, and relaxed. Service and Staff the heart of Sea Fish is the team: Lucy, Helena, and Ed , welcoming you with an easy smile and showing you to your table. Then they take the orders with the calm efficiency of someone who genuinely cares that you get exactly what you want. The team glides between tables, keeping things tidy and checking in at just the right moments without hovering, after plate of perfectly cooked fish and chips, and you can tell from the consistency that they takes real pride in there craft. Food quality The fish arrives encased in a crisp, golden batter that cracks gently under the fork, revealing soft, flaky fish that tastes fresh and clean. The chips are the proper kind thick, hot, and fluffy inside, with just enough crunch on the outside and a good hit of salt ( my personal choice). Classic sides like mushy peas, and tartar sauce rounds everything out. Atmosphere and value Sea Fish strikes a nice balance between traditional and modern, making it just as suitable for a quick lunch, formal gathering or for a casual dinner with friends or family. Prices feel fair for the quality on the plate, and portion sizes are generous enough that you leave satisfied, maybe even planning what you’ll try on your next visit. Overall impression Sea Fish is the kind of place that quietly become my favorite: not flashy, but consistently good, with a team that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. recommend Sea Fish to anyone craving proper fish and chips.

I really wanted to like this place but waiting 15 minutes for drinks and an hour for fish and chips is too much. Their twice cooked chips may indeed be twice cooked but if they are they are then quite obviously frozen and have frozen chips texture, and believe me, I can tell the difference as that's all I cook for the family. The staff are pleasant and the restaurant itself is lovely, but the waiting time and the frozen food needs sorting out. Sadly I wouldn't go back as things stand.

Visited on a Friday night without booking, wasn't busy. Elena was very friendly and accommodating and we has a table for 6 within 5 minutes. Really lovely modern, comfortable decor. There is a varied menu choice. We enjoyed our food which was delicious. All our servers were very friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
