The White Lady and Ruby’s Coffee shop

Lovely atmosphere, not one for leaving reviews but have been attending The White Lady since they opened. Donna & Clive put soo much into their business and it shows how the business have grown over the last 6 years. The staff are very welcoming, the customers are friendly with lots of regular faces. It’s very popular on weekends & i can see why. Food is served various nights a week & always sells out! The pizzas are one of the best in the area - I believe they used to do steak nights but not seen this recently, will check when we go again - keep up the good work 🙂

This place is honestly one of our absolute favourite places. We go here at least once a week for food, and it’s always our first choice for drinks too. The food is always fantastic, tasty, freshly made, and we’ve never been disappointed. The place itself is lovely and always spotless, with a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes you want to stay longer. The owners and staff are just brilliant. They’re always so warm and friendly, and they make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in. Nothing is ever too much trouble. It’s just a proper great spot all round, great food, great people, great atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it more!

I popped into The White Lady recently and was genuinely impressed. I'd heard good things, but the staff really are the highlight. From the minute we walked in, the welcome was friendly and immediate—not the forced politeness you get elsewhere, but proper, genuine warmth. The bar team was quick, efficient, and they clearly know their drinks menu inside out. Even when the place started to fill up, they managed the pace really well, making sure no one was left waiting too long. It’s the kind of effortless, attentive service that makes you feel completely comfortable. They create a really relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. If you want a pub with staff that actually elevate the whole experience, this is the one. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Brilliant little bar and coffee shop- had a lovely time at baby shower with fabulous grazing table food and nothing too much trouble, was able to decorate an hour before party and staff very accommodating- highly recommend Clive, Donna and family doing a great job 👏🏻

Visiting The White Lady was a fantastic experience, and the credit for that goes entirely to the team. The owners, Donna and Clive I think the names were, clearly host great vibes, provided a genuinely welcoming environment . We spent time there throughout the weekend, and the bar and floor staff were consistently excellent. Conner was incredibly quick behind the bar, handling orders efficiently, and Cerise was wonderfully attentive, making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. But the exceptional service extended far beyond just them. Conner, Cerise, and the other staff we saw all weekend provided seamless service. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work, which makes all the difference to the customer experience. The consistency across the entire team is what truly makes this pub stand out. Big thanks to Donna, Clive, Conner, Cerise, and the rest of the team for making it such a brilliant weekend. Highly recommended!
