Edlington convenience store

I've never had a problem with this store until today. I went to pick up my parcel, and when the guy heard my name, he told me he sent it back two days ago because my husband and I wrote a bad review about his store. I said I didn't understand what he meant. He brought me his phone and showed me the bad review. I told him it wasn't me because even though the lady and I have the same first name, my last name is different, and I showed him my ID. He said he definitely sent the parcel back this lady, so I asked where my parcel is. He couldn't answer. I understand that mistakes can happen. I'm sure he sent my parcel back. I didn't hear him say sorry, that he made a mistake... he just kept talking about the lady. He wouldn't let me explain that it wasn't me. I left furious and I'm sure I'll never order a parcel there again. Next time, the shopkeeper should better check the parcel ID.

My husband and I used this store primarily for sending and receiving UPS packages. We had numerous problems with the owner because he refused to accept large packages, using various false excuses. Now it turns out the store rejected a package from a lady only because she has the same first name as me They had a chance to improve their customer service, but it seems they didn't.

I wanted to send parcel using this UPS access point today but I was not served. The lady said that the UPS system does not work on Sunday, where I often sent parcels on Sunday. I called the owner to clarify the matter but the person who answered the phone hung up. I will repot this store also to UPS

Really customer focused, always making you feel welcome. Absolutely fabulous service all round. Definitely deserving of a 5 🌟 Review.
