Fantastic ample hardware store with all sorts. From really good bread, milk to nuts bolts and gardening section. Fishing tackle, cards, stationary, blankets, towels, pool chemicals and pool toys. Large pet section with frozen meats for dogs not to mention huge selection of dog snackies and large cat food section section. Safety boots and safety hi Viz gear, camping gear, laundry and washing supplies. Everything but the kitchen sink. On Wednesday and Saturday there is also a fresh fruit and veg stand with the most amazin produce.

It's a bit out of the way and so we don't go that often as when we do go we then tend to stock up rather than just going when we want one or two things if it was closer by. Sells a good range of sorted dated or out of date food and a good selection of other household items. If it's a weekend you usually have to wait 10-15 mins to pay as there are only 2 tills. Parking isn't great but it's understandable due to the location, probably holds about 20 cars at a push but we've always found somewhere nearby if it's full. The staff are very knowledgeable and have to type all the prices into the tills by hand. We like it and you can get some good bargains 🙂👍🏻

Local, well established discount store,stocks everything from groceries, everyday household items, cleaning products,paint,door mats, tools for diy projects, and a garden centre outside with a very good range of plants at extremely competitive prices,in summer they have three very long stands packed with a good variety, I called on a wet and cold October day hence the one row. Outside has stalls selling fruit and veg, pies,ect also a catering outlet with seating. Well worth a visit.

Great selection of stuff. SHOCKING STAFF. Stay away from the 3D printed tat that costs 1p make and they sell for £5 Best. Friendliest staff members get fired so management can hire friends (never worked there but watched this happen). NOT ALLOWED DOGS, there's signs and everything no dogs allowed. but will let their managers friends bring dogs. Got told off for using an empty box I asked if I could use. Then had to wait 10 mins while staff had an argument with me about if I could use it. I asked you. You said yes. Staff member got fired for having small talk at the till while I was paying for items. Convo always ended as soon as the card hits the machine. They much prefer you to be rude to customers. Ask for help get tutted and sighed at. Used to be a great place, been going there 20+ years. Staff are just nasty and clearly hate their job.

Been shopping at waites for 20+ years! They have grown so much over the years, they have a great selection of bargains and a wide range of items. From sweet treats. Household, pet needs, plants and so much more! Definitely worth a visit (don't forget your purse/wallet, i bet you can't leave without buying something).
