Unprofessional customer service bordering rude. The selection of items is reasonable, long queue for till (only one on) ment aisles blocked by people queuing with large shops. I wouldn’t recommend this store, there are plenty of better supermarkets in the area IMHO
Do not order via uber eats from this place. I had placed an order for just butter which that itself cost me £9. Waited over 2 hours for my order which then had to I ring the store up and they said “you might as well cancel the order” how long does it take to get just butter? BUTTER? Like seriously?? The drivers kept changing too honestly shocking. Even my local co op is better than this.
Overall a good place, it was not busy as it was 06.00am the only niggle I had was the reduced goods. A 41p reduction taken off, the full price item of £3.25, and it was the day best before date too really ! I think it's a area where Asda seriously could look at, by making bigger reductions on out of date produce. Other supermarkets seem to do good reductions on there out of date goods .
Ordered some groceries online and a microwave for delivery on Sunday and late in the day was told microwave out of stock which was urgently needed a friend took us Monday morning early to the store where they had plenty of the one we wanted maybe the order picker couldn't be bothered as is often the case with most things these days quick enough to grab money though then make you wait for refund
It’s got some good Asda elements like the sushi bar. The store feels really claustrophobic though - aisles are too narrow and too many areas where everyone gets in a jam, such as when you come in through the entrance or move towards the tills. Despite the store cramming in so many aisles there’s an incredibly small toy selection. Some issues like freezer section covered in ice, and mispriced items such as the chewing gum by the self serve checkout where the same product is priced £1 in one stand and £2.20 in another (when scanned it was £1 - it should never have been £2.20, that’s a rip-off)
