Matalan

Just wanted to share my thoughts on this store, the only reason I give a 5 star is because of the lovely girl named Aaisha who was very helpful, respectful and had patience with me as I can be abit picky when shopping but otherwise it could be abit better with presentation as the place was not exactly clean, the women's aisle was just a mess with clothes dropped on the ground and shoes all over the place, the men's aisle had clothes on the ground so couldn't really look at stuff properly especially with wrong sizes being shown on clothes, a medium was showing large ect.

Quick stop for Uni stuff for daughter.....Nice going into a Matalan since ours closed down.

The customer service I received today from a staff member called Zain was not professional at all. I only came in to grab a couple of bits and leave I just wanted to get on with the rest of my day. The cashier was very pushy and rude when I got asked if I wanted to donate to charity I said no he still proceed to say well it's only 50p it'll round your total up I again refused that I don't want to donate he then went on to say that there children dying in gaza! There was no need for Zain to be pushy and express his beliefs on to anyone. While paying and leaving the store he reminded me three times that he didn't add the donation and put his thumbs up at me. There was another man he served before me and didn't treat him the same way so why am I or any other person and expection. Highly unprofessional! You really need to fix up!

I bought some items from shop and quality is not good. Hoody stuff is very bad and the same day hoody is in very bad condition. I share the photo of hoody and bill as well.

Extremely rude staff member pressured us to give him a charity donation. Got very angry when we refused, Manager agreed with him and very unhelpful said the staff member was very passionate about charity. Disgusting behaviour
