Doncaster's Yungblud Gives Back: Free Festival Tickets for NHS Staff in Yorkshire and Beyond

Bludfest 2025 just became the most meaningful gig of the summer — and it starts right here in Yorkshire.

Global music sensation Yungblud, born and raised in Doncaster, is teaming up with Sheffield-based social enterprise Tickets for Good to say thank you to the NHS — and they’re doing it the Yorkshire way: loud, proud, and for everyone.

Thousands of free tickets to Bludfest, Yungblud’s own genre-smashing festival at Milton Keynes National Bowl on Saturday 5 July, are now available to NHS workers, charity staff, teachers, volunteers, and those impacted by the cost-of-living crisis — but they need to be claimed before midnight on Thursday 5 June.

A Yorkshire Artist With a Global Message

Yungblud has always been more than a performer — he’s a movement. Whether smashing genre boundaries or fighting for inclusivity and mental health support, his roots in Doncaster run deep, and so does his gratitude to the people who care for others every day.

His new single “Zombie”, backed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and featuring Florence Pugh in the video, is a powerful tribute to the unsung heroes of the NHS — a raw, emotional love letter to those who give so much and ask for so little.

“You help us say goodbye, you help us say hello. You do it all without awards, rewards, or praise,” Yungblud said.
“So we wanted to highlight you — you superheroes — and say thank you.”

A Homegrown Partnership for Good

The ticket giveaway is powered by Tickets for Good, a social impact platform born in Sheffield, which connects NHS staff and others with low-cost or free access to live events. It’s already helped communities save over £20 million in ticket value and is backed by big names including Robbie Williams.

This is the second time Yungblud and Tickets for Good have joined forces — and the biggest yet.
