Laurels Park Campsite

This campsite was a great find, we have been twice now and will definitely be back. Peaceful location and large grass and hard standing pitches. There are two toilets and a shower, dog friendly, a short walk to the village pub and a great Sunday carvery at the Drax Sports & Social Club. There is a nature reserve nearby with some lovely walks. The owners are friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. If I could give this campsite more stars I would. Definitely be back soon 🙂

We chose this site as it was our first time campervanning and didn't want to go too far. We had an early check-in and a nice afternoon checkout time (we wasn't sure about checkout time so had to message them) latest is 1pm 🙂 There's a men's and womens toilet cabin. Women's has 1 toilet and 1 shower with hooks but no bench/shelf for stuff 👀😝 didn't use shower but its £1 for 5 mins. The room could do with some tlc but the toilet was clean so 👍🏽 There was an area for rubbish for general waste and recycling. And another liquid waste area. On arrival we noticed poos (foxes or deers i think so cant be helped) around our spots so had to pick those up before we started, so just have some bags handy. There's 2 hard pitches and some grass pitches with electric and water taps, and a few picnic benches 😍🐷 Lots of field area Very peaceful and tidy camp site. We will be back again 😁

We stayed on one of the hardstanding pitches with EHU. The campsite is very well looked after with good views over fields. Toilet facilities and a chemical toilet emptying point. Great if you want a quite un disturbed get away.

We stayed here for a couple of days last week what a lovely peaceful site !! The owners were very pleasant and welcoming . The site is large well maintained with grass pitches and two hardstandings Facilities very good toilets and shower .Definitely going back.
