Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park

Yet another great stay at the campsite. I’d put in a personal request which was met so that was a brilliant start. Cannot fault the washrooms, bathrooms, and all services you want and need when towing a caravan. Spotlessly clean, everyone adhered to the quiet time rulings, we walked into Whitby in twenty minutes along the promenade seafront, great base to access Saltburn, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood’s bay (if you have a motor). Busy stop right outside the site and brilliant views out to sea. Our third time here and it never disappoints.

This was our first stay at this lovely site, the location was perfect for us as it was within walking distance into whitby. The site itself is a credit to the staff. Absolutely fantastically maintained throughout. The toilet/ shower block is immaculate at any time of day. We had a sea view from our pitch . It was lovely and peaceful and we look forward to our second visit. Highly recommended.

At last ! A campsite that delivers what it promises. Sandfield house is a well located immaculate caravan park with excellent modern immaculate facilities. As soon as we arrived we knew that this was going to be an excellent site. The pitches and grass areas are manicured, the bin area , chemical toilet point , dog wash and motorhme points were all so clean . The site itself was quiet and relaxed , there was a small shop and plenty of toilets and showers spread through two facilities blocks. Location is excellent, 20 mins walk to Whitby and a bus stop is located right outside the entrance of the site. There is a path to the beach (approx 5 mins) but unfortunately this was shut by the council who were carrying out groundwork. Overall very highly recommended, we will be back.

Our first visit to this site and most definitely not the last. A really friendly welcome when you are shown to your pitch and given an introduction about the site. The staff are fantastic. Pitches are hard standing and we had a great view of the sea. Water points both mains supply and grey water disposal were close to hand. Toilet blocks and facilities were fantastic. Really modern and kept in immaculate condition. There is a small shop with essentials in reception too. It is an easy walk into town either by the footpath along the road or drop down towards the seafront from the campsite and follow the large coastal footpath. Already booked again for next year.

Our first stay at this site which was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. Lovely site with clean shower/toilet blocks. Flat, accessible pitch close to shower/toilet block as requested. Fabulous location, close to Whitby with comfortable, scenic walking routes via beach promenade. We required late arrival and the site were very accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit!
