Brilliant. Needed an urgent on the day fix which Lewis & team delivered without a prior booking. They explained the problem, were innovative in finding a solution and very economical. Highly recommended.

Sometimes you can have excellence on your doorstep and not always appreciate it. On occasions you are reminded. Lewis and Jim always do a good job but the reminder about excellence came with a detached exhaust heat shield, the old Volvo needed for getting to work. Despite a busy schedule, Lewis took a look on the same day. Understanding the importance of needing the vehicle, he slipped in a simple and genius solution between phone calls, immediately back on the road. Huge thanks and great value.

I have a fairly old Kia Rio (62 plate) - it is a brilliant car but I've had problems with the gear change for several years which was getting progressively worse. I got a nameless local garage to 'sort it' a couple of years ago with a replacement clutch.... no real improvement and it got worse and worse - had to switch engine off to get it in reverse.- took it back they said it needed a new gearbox asked them twice to quote for it but never got back to me. I gave up and went to C&G motors. It was the clutch not the gear box. Got the clutch renewed with them at a very good price and what a difference - like a new car now. I am so pleased with C&G a brilliant solution and saved me scrapping my trusty Rio. Thank you C&G motors

Highly recommended, friendly and helpful staff and efficient service. It was a walk-in job they managed to fit me into their busy garage (always a good sign) and they got my car fixed in ahead of schedule. The price that I was quoted for the work was the price I paid. Certainly wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I'm in the area. Thanks.
