Just got here, very friendly lovely little site, clean and tidy

Good stopover for us on our way south from Bamburgh. We arrived late for the night and so did not have much time to explore. We had a friendly welcome and access to an EHU and toilet shower unit which was close to the pitch we were given. Maybe the light in the shower/toilet could stay on a bit longer as there is no natural light in the ladies toilet and it went off while I was getting dressed... Fortunately I had taken my torch as I guessed that might happen 🤣 Would definitely use again for a quick stopover or a visit to York as there is a good park and ride option fairly close to this site.

We take the kids camping here as it's in a great location, some brilliant walks and attractions nearby. The owners are lovely and very helpful and there is a nice little micro community on site. The kids love the small play area and the nearby Maize Maze in Easingwold (Summer Only), which is a lovely little town.
