Enjoyed large family room (excluding entrance stairs). Lots of room, warm, kettle etc and bottled water, bathroom necessities, tv and towels. Will be going back to try restaurant which opens at 5 as menu very tempting but we had already eaten at lunchtime with toddler. Just off A19. As it was early Sunday morning we breakfasted at Beefeater but lots of cafes in Easingwold too.

Brilliant place to stay, above an Indian restaurant nice. They left bottled water in the room, the towels left were plush, soft and really absorbant. The beds were super comfy and they left a huge fan in the room. We paid under £80 for the night and were only a few minutes outside the City. There was a food menu in the room if you were interested. The room is a little tired esp in the bathroom but it's still safe and comfortable and an absolute bargain if visiting York. We drove to Flamingoland the next day which took just under an hour

Very basic rooms with essential amenities/priced accordingly. Hairdryer hadn't been PAT tested since 2017 and did stop working. Bed was also uncomfortable. Only used for 2 nights and were ideal for what we needed it for. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Downstairs restaurant brilliant.

The pictures were when we left - when we arrived the beds were made and everything, although simple, was very clean and tidy. Very happy to stay here the night. Off a busy road but traffic can't be heard. Above a restaurant bit again the noise wasn't bad at all. We stayed in a family room (room 10 and there were 10 rooms total) which had 2 double beds and one single bed. We put up a travel cot and there was plenty of room. Large bathroom with a shower over the bath. Small hairdryer to use, wifi (although very poor), and a good TV as well as a kettle and tea/coffee. Would come here again.
