A nice golf club not far from York. It has a reasonable sized clubhouse which is a bit dated but has everything you need. Plus a large practice area. The course is very easy walking and has some interesting challenges. I have and will visit again.

Amazing food at the clubhouse
Really enjoyed this today. I played in the driving range for the first time since hip surgery. I was pleased to see I can still do it. A very nice 12 bay driving Range. Neat and tidy. No litter. This is open in daylight hours for the public or members to practice. You can either purchase a token from the well equipped pro shop or pay by card at the machine. The chap in the pro shop was non judgemental and made me feel welcome. Perhaps I will visit the restaurant next time.
