Scarborough Hotels - The Lodge Bar & Grill - East Ayton

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and we will definitely return! The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed, all staff lovely and very helpful. The lady on reception on Friday 28th and young lad on the bar in the afternoon in particular were amazing. I read another review from somebody saying those who book with a voucher are treated less equally - we booked with a voucher and can confirm this isn’t true, all staff went above and beyond during our stay! The bar area, restaurant and snug room are beautiful. All facilities are immaculately clean and the food was lovely. 10/10 from us and next time we will bring our dog🐾🐾Thank you🥰

My wife and I returned to East Ayton lodge recently to check if it was still as exceptional as our visits in 2022 and 2023. East Ayton lodge did not disappoint and was as exceptional as it was in the past. We arrived to be greeted by Annie, who had booked us in over the phone. She had given us a really good deal on bed and breakfast. We spoke to her about our previous visits, where the service and customer care had been exceptional by Andrea and Amy. Previously we had commented how the black pudding was the best we ever tasted. Then on one visit Andre had purchased us one, we offered to pay but she said it was a complimentary gift. We mentioned to Annie it was Julie's birthday. Later that evening after our two courses, which were delicious. The Lodge offered us a complimentary cocktail and dessert. I had a lovely strawberry sponge pudding and Julie a Martini. The young lad who made the Martini was an experienced cocktail maker. He was brilliant and explained how he made cocktails from his previous job. Julie ordered another it was so delicious. Next morning we were greeted at Breakfast by Nicky a very bubbly lady. She served the breakfast as exceptional as it used to be in the past. Especially the black pudding taste and flavour unbeatable. The best hotel breakfast ever. The staff have always made this Lodge exceptional, along with the chillaxing atmosphere and surroundings. They even have an adult's room, with darts board and pool table. East Ayton Lodge is a hidden gem and should be visited by EVERYONE that visits the east coast. It is "our home from home". Rob the owner should be so proud of his Lodge and staff. Everything was exceptional about our stay. So if you are visiting the east coast, this is the place to stay EXCEPTIONAL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤔😉

Went here today for a sunday Roast. Not only was the roast dinner delicious, but it was so reasonably priced considering the amount of food you get. 2 courses for £20 and trust me they dont hold back on portion sizes for the dinner or the cake after. Children also eat for free! Amazing value and amazing food. Will definately be coning back here for my sunday roasts.

My wife and I celebrated our blessing at the hotel and stayed there for three nights. The staff went above and beyond to make sure us and our guest were comfortable. Working with the event coordinator there was also a breeze. They gave us the biggest suite of rooms to have a base of operations plus room for the kids. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Amazing location with two great beers on tap! We would certainly come back!

It's always amazing when you find a small boutique hotel that delivers what it says it will.! We arrived Friday for a two night stay,and found Anna on reception smiling a welcome especially to Hedley,our young Golden Retriever. Our courtyard room was everything we could have wished for. Mike, Lydia and other members of the team gave outstanding customer service over our stay. Food , breakfast and dinner, perfect for us.The grounds are beautifully kept, and the interior of the hotel is spotless. We will definitely be returning!
