The New Inn

Had a fabulous lunch at The New Inn, Eccup. Beautiful pub, scenic location, fantastic friendly staff, especially Harrison! Food was so good! All our meals were fabulous. Steak pie was so tender, the fish pie had lots of tasty fish and my 2 breasts of chicken were gorgeous! Such a pity we had no room for pudding! Well worth visiting and the place at lunchtime was busy!!

Excellent Sunday roast. I have the 4 meats one and every single one (beef, turkey, pork, turkey) was really tasty. Big Yorkshire pud and lots of veg and gravy. Amazing value for money. Service great - Harrison was knowledgeable and really friendly. And the atmosphere and surroundings has really improved. Well done to the new owner. I’m sure it’ll go from strength to strength.

Absolute gem of a place! We visited last weekend for Sunday Lunch. We received a lovely welcome from the new Landlord Kyle, and all the staff were so helpful and kind. The food was beautiful! Between our party of 5, we each had a different roast, with a few of the sides (the cauliflower cheese deserves a special mention) and puddings all round. What was meant to be a quick afternoon lunch with a glass of wine, turned into a lovely evening. The whole pub just has a warm, friendly feel - the fire, the Christmas lights and the overall atmosphere just made it very difficult to leave. Atmosphere, food and service all deserve a 10/10! Would definitely recommend!

Visited last night on its reopening after a full refurbishment. What a transformation. The New Inn is a now lovely warm cosy country pub with great staff, great beer and delicious food. We had the fish pie and steak & ale pie followed by sticky toffee pudding. All of it was delicious. Whether it's for a meal, or just a drink, we highly recommend the New Inn.

Now after a full revamp and under a new team of Scott and Kyle the New Inn is a great classic pub. Great food, good beer, friendly staff. Dinner was excellent and I'm sure we'll be back to to try the Sunday roast. Well done all, keep it up.
