Elland Hall Farm Caravan Park

I had a lovely couple of nights on this quiet friendly site. I would definitely like to stay here again soon. It felt surprisingly rural given the sites location. I didn’t feel as if I was close to a town, with the field behind and the sound of the birds.

Good size, flat hardstandings for up to 10 motorhomes/caravans all with EHU, free fast WiFi. Fresh water point in central location. Secure behind a bollard activated with a fob. New toilet/shower block with 2 toilets and 1 shower in each. Elsan also near this block, but separate. Lovely walks with easy access into Elland or slightly further, Halifax or Brighouse.

Lovely little cute site and reasonably priced. Owner is very amenable and always available. The site is kid friendly and it is well away from the main road. There are adequate security cameras and a security barrier to get in with the fob also. Shower block is ok but could do with updating. In the gents there is a toilet, shower, urinal and sink (these two could do with more of a barrier between them because if you are shaving or cleaning your teeth it’s a bit cosy when someone is urinating next to you). In the ladies there are two toilets, a shower and the sink. Both ladies and gents are nice and warm in the winter due to the blown air heaters. Theres some lovely scenery closeby with a large wood and the canal only a few minutes walk away, being able to get to either Brighouse (25 mins walk, 10 mins slow bike ride) or Hebden Bridge (1hr and a bit) along the canal path. On a side note, I’m getting a 4G signal around about 65 meg (2022 UPDATE - on 5G i’m getting 220 meg) on my mobile broadband every time we stay as the mast is close and four of us can adequately use our iPads and phones as well as stream 4K to our TV. There is Wi-Fi available on the campsite also which seems pretty good @ around 16meg (tested in summer) but I only used it a few times when I had a signal outage. Already planning my next stay x

So quiet and peaceful. Excellent shower block and toilet facilities. Plenty of parking and a secure site. Owners very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
