353 souls from this village gave the ultimate sacrifice. The car park was locked so I parked just up by the lights on the ramp by the locked gates a quick 5 mins. The Garden is nice shame about the traffic noise. There is a small tree for each fallen hero’s a very nice touch with a decorated poppy. Glad I found this by mistake when lost.

This collection of artwork is located at the edge of Featherstone. It's a thought provoking grouping, prompting remembrance, created to mark the centenary of the end of the Great War. Newer sculptures capture impressions of the home front. A lovely meadow, adjacent to the site takes you further from the road noise. The planting commemorates those from the town who lost their lives. Parking is courtesy of the local sports ground but it's by no means guaranteed there will be space.

Stunning statues. Thought provoking place. Parking at the rugby club. Use the public footpath. Free to access.

On a visit from North East tried to visit this site twice......unable to access. There should be a car park available if you want people to visit. Really historic when you take into account it is 80 years since the war ended and we want to keep this information alive for younger generation. Very disappointed
