This was my very 1st time at Skiing, the place is amazing, 1st the Coach Elysia Fish, brilliantly coach me from absolute useless to end of dsy being able to go down the big slope on my own with turns, and stopping... I loved it.. booked another lesson staright away as you get discount. You also get Boots, skis and helmet included. If you book a day lesson you will be in a small group and lunch is included, its not amazing food but its mid table, However the overall experience was fab and it helped having a absolute super Coach. Whatever you do, to prep for ypur next or 1st ski trip, BOOK THIS PLACE.

I have been here a few times now and on a whole really love the place. This visit was very busy with netted off areas due to an evening activity that they had, This limited the area to ski, along with a lot of bare places and ice patches. Seemed in the occasion more effort was being put in place for their evening jump activity. This wasn’t mentioned in booking. None the less practice is practice.

We had a great time at the adults beginner day course yesterday, our instructor Doug was brilliant and was great at giving individual advice and support even though we were part of a group. Would recommend! In terms of timing definitely get there at least half an our early as advised, as getting the ski boots and skis takes a while especially if it's busy or if you need to try different boot sizes.

A great place to practise skiing. The slope is a reasonable size compared to most dry slopes and the baby/ learning slope is very useful. Its hard to get to a decent speed/ carve if you're an advanced skier but as I hadn't been on skis in about 10 years was perfectly fine. Staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful. The area was cold but not super cold, I managed 3 hours without gloves but I run very warm, most people will want them. Rental skis and boots are fine, they do the job.

We paid for a 3 hour recreational session on Saturday from 9-12. The facilities like changing rooms and toilets are currently being refurbished which is understandable but a bit frustrating having to walk around the centre to find the other ones. The biggest issue we had was that it was so ridiculously busy!! At one point both lifts were running and I counted how many people were in the queue I was in and it was 50 people!!! The pictures from the top don’t look like that many people but we spent most of our time queuing. It was a similar amount for the other lift queue too and at the start of our slot there was only 1 lift running. I understand that the actual slope probably fits more people and when I’ve been to the Milton Keynes location I’ve been happy knowing I’ll spend more time on the lift than the slope but this just felt insane. We spent most of our time waiting in a queue to get on the lift. Just felt like there were too many people especially for the price you pay for a 3 hour session, we actually left about 40 minutes early as I was starting to get very cold just waiting around even though I genuinely have all the right clothes etc. I’m sure it is a great place but maybe just needs a bit more consideration on how many people are in there at one time.
