Glebelands Recreation Ground

Nice place to come and play with the kids. I just don't like that pets are not allowed.

Great open field with large car park, great skatepark, gym equipment and play park with swings, see saw etc. Corner of the field is very muddy/pond like after loads of rain - good fun wear wellies/dogs splashies 😄

Skate park, little playground and sports field. Events held here, annual Garforth Garla, car boot sales, bonfire and fireworks display.

Nice sunny spot to walk the dog, kick a ball about, play in the park/skate park, have a picnic. However, no facilities, eg toilets, picnic benches just a few benches in the park and two at the skate park. Don't think the ice cream man stops there anymore 🤷‍♀️

It was good for my grandchildren with rides and games. Not much choice of food stalls/areas so barely anywhere to sit, had to eat/drink whilst walking and no bins! Thought at first games expensive but there was a prize every time which were decent enough. Sadly, there was one stall not happy with! The hit the peg with a hammer and ring the bell( one roight hand side of field near rides). The peg was broken, the old man on stall let them have a few goes and it was a prize every time. Choice of 3 things, my grandson chose a box of various sweets. When we got home and opened them he noticed most of them were out of date, so glad he noticed!! 😯
