Me and my family stopped meeting up here due to numerous occasions of issues with the same male member of staff. The young man with curly hair with glasses to be precice. One occasion being my younger brothers 21st birthday he refused to serve myself and my 53 year old mother a shot each due to us purchasing 2 cocktail pitchers 30 minutes prior with our meals... It was a weekday and we was not there to get drunk, we was simply having a birthday family meal. Another time after that I met up with my sister gor a catchup and after ONE glass of prosecco she got an acidic stomach and instantly threw up on herself. We both went to the toilets to clean her up and on our way out of the toilets we was told we would never be welcome at the establishment again, by the exact same man who had previously caused issues at family events. I was so shocked by this and I would of definitely raised a complaint in the moment but i had to focus on my main concern which was getting my sister to her home in that moment as she needed to get changed and was in pain with her acidic stomach. You would think there would of been more to the story but no, if you get an acidic stomach i would avoid going there as they dont accomodate more like to embaress you infront of everyone. Never been there since. Yet I'm still hearing of the man in question causing drama with other customers... We now meet at the otley bowling Green where staff are very welcoming. It's a shame because the rest of the staff at clotheirs arms are always very lovely but i just couldn't deal with the man harrasing us anymore. Not what you want when having a nice quiet meet up with friends/family. I hope this man reads this and decides to change his attitude towards customers... you are not forced to work there and you do not need to take it out on customers. Please try find a different career path if customer service is not for you.

I was impressed with the décor in this Wetherspoons, especially the tiling behind the bar. Good service and a nice pint of Chinook for £2. Lively atmosphere, and a small beer garden. Not a big ''Spoons, but definitely worth a visit. Bus stop for Otley is just outside the pub.

It's what you pay for. You can get a decent sized meal for a small price compared to other restaurants and the beer is much cheaper too. Good location on the high street, and generally decent condition inside. Good for a cheap meal out.
