I love this place. Went for government sanction exercise most evenings through April to June during the 2020 lockdown. It is not very big, but it is lovely to walk around and climb up the hill. Is slowly recovering from tree-felling and new plants are growing.

Small hard standing parking space for about 5 cars, free to use and no restrictions No amenities here Not suitable for wheelchair users as many of the paths go through the woods Plenty of paths, great for families and dog walkers with decent views and wildlife to spot

Great area for short walks. Excellent views of the surrounding area when at the top. Lots of undergrowth which is great for nature. The path may be tricky for less agile people and may be treacherous descending in the event of heavy rain or unexpected thunderstorms! There are some lower areas to explore too, which are easier to access. Beautiful trees

A free stroll in nature with some good views from the top. Small free parking area at the entrance on the roadside. Paths mostly through shoulder height bracken, but it opens out a bit at the top, proffering some pleasant views. Paths a mixture of woodland grass; sand and then rock at the top, the latter two can be a bit slippery.

It would be nice but it's been decimated by tree cutting and the ground has all been churned up. Piles of detritus from the tree clearing just left around. Give it another couple of years and it should start to be nicer.
