Have been sampling great food at this gem of a cafe for a few years now. Excellent full breakfast, super quiche, nice range of cakes, and delicious scones. Service is always friendly with a smile.
Popped in after a very wet walk to a lovely warm welcome and very comfortable and tidy surroundings. The coffee's were nice and strong flavoured, Bakewell tart and date and walnut scones were both top quality. This is a very rare gem of a coffee shop and B&B, highly recommended ❤️
A hidden gem Always delicious home made food on the menu, with daily specials and superb Sunday Lunch. Today we had Welsh Rarebit , one of our favourites.
Sophie’s is an absolutely wonderful coffee shop and cafe - we have been very regular customers for years ! Extremely friendly, best flat white coffees in the area and absolutely delicious fresh homemade cakes - yummy 😋 Dog friendly too - so all in all a top cafe 🥳
Sophie offers a great range of eg breakfasts, sandwiches, panini, light (& not so light!) lunches, cakes, indulgent stuff (shortbread, flapjack etc). Kitchen run by a proper chef (Stefano) who presents quality dishes. You can eat inside or in the pretty garden. Sophie is usually here - she makes the cakes, which are hard to resist. Well worth a visit 😀
