Called yesterday and really enjoyed our family meal. The staff were very attentive, friendly and looked after us throughout. Plenty of choice for the menu and good selection of drinks. I am not a big lover of fish and chips but I have to say we all really enjoyed them, cooked really well and came with tartare sauce and mush peas. I would definitely have them again. My wife had the salmon and really enjoyed it, was perfectly cooked and the veg was excellent. Really enjoyed St Quintinβs own lager. Would I dine here again, Definitely!
This place is an absolute joy. Lovely owners-friendly, welcoming, chatty, and they set the tone for a lovely meal and experience. Food was delicious-freshly cooked, locally sourced, trained chef. Some delicious vegetarian options. They also serve homemade ice cream from dairy cows opposite!!! Will be visiting again. Itβs worth the drive to go to a nice country pub/restaurant.
Just spent 2 days in this lovely old pub, great location to see the area. Welcoming owners, great room, great food cooked to order. Would recommend ππ»
Our room was lovely. The staff were friendly. We had an evening meal on a Friday. Which was very good but we were waiting 1hour and 10mins. I was hungry when I arrived π. I would have preferred mugs in our room rather than cup and saucer.
Interesting place to stay. Historic village. Old church. Local legend. Away from the main road. Easy free parking. Nice rooms, lovely staff. Enjoyable food. Very clean. Quiet and peaceful. Nice big garden. Lots going on in locality. Ancient monoliths. Lots of national trust and English Heritage and other historic sights and properties to visit. Not far from the sea. RSPB site where you can see puffins and other sea birds, whales and dolphins.
