Elly Griffiths to Launch New 'Book & Brunch' Series in Harrogate

Crime fiction fans are in for a treat this autumn as bestselling author Elly Griffiths headlines the launch of a brand-new literary series in Yorkshire.

In a partnership between Harrogate International Festivals and Cedar Court Hotels, the inaugural Cedar Court ‘Book & Brunch’ event will take place at the historic Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate on Sunday 21st September, from 10am to noon.

A Sunday morning with a literary legend

Guests will enjoy a relaxed meet and greet with Elly Griffiths, followed by a delicious brunch in one of Harrogate’s most prestigious venues. Afterwards, Elly will share insights into her writing career, including a Q&A session with the audience.

Elly Griffiths is the award-winning author behind the Dr Ruth Galloway Mysteries, the Brighton Mysteries, the Detective Harbinder Kaur series, and a new time-travel detective series featuring Ali Dawson. Earlier this year, she received the Theakston Old Peculier Outstanding Contribution to Crime Fiction Award 2025, cementing her status as one of the UK’s most celebrated crime writers.
