<strong>Finance Manager/Accountant (No. 1 Finance Person)</strong> <p><strong>Location:</strong> East side of Harrogate, North Yorkshire</p> <p>Due to growth, an established SME located on the East side of Harrogate is recruiting for a Finance Manager/Accountant. Reporting to their Director and working with their book-keeper, you will take responsibility of the company finances. </p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Act as the lead finance professional within the business.</li><li>Report directly to the Managing Director.</li><li>Manage all accounting and finance activities.</li><li>Work alongside and oversee/support the bookkeeper.</li><li>Produce management accounts and financial reports.</li><li>Design and improve financial systems and reporting processes.</li><li>Deliver timely and accurate financial information to directors.</li><li>Support business growth through effective financial management.</li></ul> <strong>Ideal Candidate</strong> <ul> <li>Experienced accountant with strong all-round accounting knowledge.</li><li>Background in industry/commercial accounting </li><li>Proficient in Xero.</li><li>Comfortable working independently as the senior finance person.</li><li>Able to implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems.</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with Directors.</li></ul> <strong>Benefits/Working Environment</strong> <ul> <li>Modern offices with on-site parking.</li><li>Good access from surrounding areas including:</li><li>Leeds</li><li>Otley</li><li>Wetherby</li><li>Ripon</li><li>York</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>.</p>
