But for that not to jeopardise your career?</p> <p>If so, Campbell Grove Talent are working with a fantastic Harrogate based business, who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team, that could be perfect for you!</p> <p>This is a great move into industry: solid, interesting management accounting work and a great manager. You'll be joining a small, close-knit finance team where people genuinely look out for each other, and you'll have real ownership over the monthly accounts process rather than just being a small cog.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Putting together monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Answering ad-hoc questions from advisers, explaining the numbers in plain English</li><li>Looking after departmental paperwork, including dividend documents and company secretarial bits</li><li>Stepping in to cover other tasks when colleagues are off on holiday or studying</li><li>Supporting and managing junior team members, checking their work and helping them grow</li></ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience</li><li>A background working for an established accountancy practice.</li><li>A calm head under deadline pressure and the ability to juggle a few things at once</li><li>The confidence to explain financial info to people who aren't finance people</li><li>Some experience mentoring or reviewing junior staff, or an interest in getting into that</li><li>A comfortable user of Excel and accounting systems</li></ul> <p>If this part time Management Accountant role sounds ideal for you, then please apply or contact Lucy Regan or Emma Dugdale to hear more about it. </p>
