This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic, forward thinking firm where you can make a meaningful contribution while developing your career in a supportive and progressive environment.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Preparation of statutory financial statements, management accounts and VAT returns for a diverse client portfolio.</li><li>Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong working relationships and conducting local on-site visits to deliver accounting support and guidance.</li><li>Supporting tax compliance and advisory work, including the review of corporation tax returns and undertaking capital allowances assessments.</li><li>Contributing to the training and development of junior team members while collaborating closely with Managers and Partners.</li><li>Using accounting software and technology platforms</li></ul> <br /><strong>Skills and Experience Required for the role:</strong><br /><ul> <li>ACA or ACCA qualified </li><li>Prior experience working within a practice environment.</li><li>Experience working with owner managed and family run businesses.</li><li>Strong technical accounting expertise and advanced proficiency in Excel.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a growing team and engage confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.</li></ul> <br />In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience, alongside flexible working arrangements that support a healthy work/life balance.
