<p><br /></p> <p>As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will have responsibility for driving customer acquisition, conversion, and overall brand growth, particularly across digital and e-commerce channels.</p> <p>While titled at CMO level, the role is equally suited to a high-potential Director background that has experience working at Board level and direct PE experience.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Client Details</strong></p> <p>A fantastic, high growth business who are scaling rapidly and have a fantastic career opportunity. </p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>As the Chief Marketing Officer, the responsibilities will include:</p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>Define and execute a commercially focused strategy aligned to ambitious growth targets</li><li>Lead and evolve a multi-channel, digitally-led function</li><li>Drive B2C customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through data-led decision making</li><li>Create market leading customer journey and experience</li><li>Optimise digital performance across paid, owned, and e-commerce channels</li><li>Build scalable processes, performance metrics, and reporting aligned to PE expectations</li><li>Partner closely with sales and product teams to create a joined-up revenue engine</li><li>Coach and scale a high performing team</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Profile</strong></p> <p>The successful Chief Marketing Officer should be a highly commercial, hands-on leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution level.</p> <p>You will bring:</p> <ul> <li>Strong B2C experience (essential), with proven success in digital and e-commerce environments</li><li>A track record of driving growth through performance marketing, conversion optimisation, and customer journey management </li><li>Experience working in private equity-backed or high-growth environments, with an understanding of pace, accountability, and investor expectations </li><li>Exposure to board-level engagement and the ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders</li><li>Experience building or scaling teams within SME / mid-sized businesses</li><li>A data-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen</li><li>Must be able to commute 2-3 days a week to Harrogate</li><li>Experience within education, technology or digital platforms would be advantageous.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p> <p>A competitive base package with equity</p> <p><br /></p>
