The West Park Hotel

Another great stay at The West Park. Great service, friendly staff and lovely food. The penthouse suite is a must if you fancy a romantic weekend away or just to live it up for a few days. Two en-suites, dressing room, very large bedroom and lovely living room area. The food was excellent as was the head of house team colleague Borus. I have stayed at The West Park on a few occasions now and various other hotels in Harrogate and I can honestly say this is by far the best hotel in Harrogate.

Our company hosted a Christmas lunch for the staff and it was amazing! We had the private suite and Beki was our host, she was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble for her. Absolutely fantastic member of the the team at West Park. Thank you Beki! X

SERVICE was appalling, constantly waiting to be seen, to order and pay. The vegan dish I paid £19 for was the worst I’ve had. After mentioning my disappointment with the bowl of couscous he basically said well that’s vegan food. AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE HE SAID THE SERVICE CHARGE HAD BEEN REMOVED WHEN THE BILL PRESENTED. These places assume and charge service that’s why SERVICE IS BAD - THEY DONT EARN IT. I suggest we only pay a service charge if we’ve received good service - we are being over charged and exploited.

We had our annual Ladies Christmas lunch for the second year running at the west park. Paulo and his team were excellent . We had the best time .The food and the service were second to none. The complimentary fizz with the festive menu was a nice touch.Looking forward to to seeing you all again next year - thank you again . Virginia 🎄

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday would not recommend. We got seated straight away but waited for over an hour for our food I could understand if it was busy but it wasn’t….. but what was more frustrating was the table opposite us came in AFTER us and got there food before we did. The roast potatoes were like concrete with a strange plastic taste…. Chicken was dry as sticks and they gave us a small pot of gravy that wouldn’t have covered 1 potatoe let alone the 5 of us at the table. We have often used this restaurant but never again gone very down hill. My nephew ordered what was supposed to be a curry and that again wasn’t the best….. small pot of sauce on the side of the plate which I again had to ask for more as there wasn’t enough. Very poor food and very slow service. Especially for the location been in Harrogate!
